Not So Wild West Coast

I’ve always enjoyed mixing things up; mixing styles especially. This look is a mix of Wild West and Coachella with an adjustment made for the ever-changing Vancouver weather (read warm jacket and boots).

When mixing styles it’s good to be fearless: here an embodiment of innocence – a white lace dress is mixed with sassy, bold leather jacket and “harsh” boots. I added a simple braided belt to accentuate the waist just as my personal preference. It also helps to dilute the white a bit and tie the dress with the rest of the outfit. A wide black belt or even a pop of colour could work the magic as well.
