Pastels & White Jeans
For a clumsy person like me pastels and whites are not ideal clothing colors to wear… But I still love them!
I love the airy feel and lightness these items give an overall look – one step closer to appearing angel-like. And as a bonus you’re training yourself to look where you’re sitting down and to drink coffee carefully.
For this look I went with high-waisted white jeans from Topshop. These are from their petite section, which works great for me. When normally cropped jeans are my regular fit, these are actually cropped on me – perfect for airing your ankles during our warm Septembers.
The tee is from Garage and was one of my first attempts to bring some “colour” into my wardrobe after going through a black and grey phase. The shirt is this beautiful dusty light blue shade with pink little flowers all over it and a playful detail at the front. I love details like these lace-ups.
Since the nights are getting cooler, I now always have a simple cardigan like this one from H&M with me. This is one of my favorites. It’s neutral, goes with everything and is warm enough. Plus, it has pockets – always a bonus in my books!
The pretty bottle in my hand is from a local brand Copper H2O. Its founder Jessica reached out to me and got me intrigued about the health benefits of copper. Copper is a natural purifier making water in these bottles natural alkaline water.
I also love that these bottles are handmade in India and 15% of the sales are donated to non-profits that work to supply clean drinking water in developing countries. True definition of health & beauty. Make sure to check them out!
Can’t forget about shoes and accessories.
Continuing with a pastel theme, the light pink flats are my random find from Winners. The flats are from an American brand ESPRIT – an everyday wear store comparable to H&M. The dainty flowery cut-outs on these satisfied my love for unique details.
Cluse watch is also a recent treat for myself. I love watches and it was about time I added this marble beauty to my collection. I’m happy with them so far – an overall classic look and neutral strap work with every outfit!
