West Coast Chic New Year
No ideas for the New Year eve outfit? I thought my recent collaboration shoot with Jam PR and West Coast Chic Vancouver resale boutique could be of assistance.
I almost never wear jumpsuits. Not because I don’t like them, but because they don’t fit me. Being 5’2″ they are always too long…
This romper was not an exception, but is an example of how styling can help when an item doesn’t fit perfectly or when you want to play with your clothes to make them more interesting/unique/fit a certain style.
This beautiful baby blue jumpsuit was a bit too long at the bottom, so we rolled up the pants and turned a classy sleeveless jumpsuit into a laid back fashion piece – perfect for the comfort-loving west coast style.
The rolled up pants also allow you to show off the shoes. Because, let’s be honest, shoes are one of the most favorite outfit pieces to show off.
The sleeveless top and a classy color is what makes this jumpsuit a perfect and unique New Years eve outfit. Instead of going bond girl black, striking red or sparkly I think this ice princess look is a fun alternative!
Throw on a furry coat for extra warmth and texture and the outfit becomes not only fashionable but functional too – I’m all for it!
If you’re feeling super dressy and playful, add a long necklace that falls down to the middle of your chest or a sparkly choker.
Hope you have an amazing end to 2017 and a strong start to the new year <3!
