Grey Canvas
For as long as I can remember when people ask me what is my favourite colour, I always say: grey. And it often comes as a surprise to many, because grey is associated with dullness and boredom. That is not how I view it at all though!
Grey for me (similar to black and white) is full of possibilities. Being a neutral colour it is like a blank canvas that I can play with. In clothes, especially, it allows materials, textures and shapes to shine and interact with each other.
This two-tone outfit shows exactly the many things two neutral colours can do. Black and grey complement each other making the geometric shapes of the coat and purse stand out. The all-black “inside” look is strict and chic. Go simple on a casual day or dress it up with a statement or long necklace and a pair of heeled boots for a night out. I love turtlenecks for the fall and winter: they are yet another “blank canvas”, classy and will keep you warm and cozy.
I tied the look together with silver accessories to give it more shine.

Love it. This grey sets the outfit off. It takes it from a simple all black outfit to a bit more classy. By the way, I love your purse!
